JB = Justin Bieber

A not-so-subtle hint left on my desk yesterday morning. I bought her what she wanted - and a few non-Biebs songs too. Because nobody needs an iPod full of the Bieber. (I also removed the profanity-laden Ben Folds song I uploaded a week ago by accident. Whoops.)

Christina Applegate & Baby Girl Sadie Grace

Christina Applegate gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Sadie Grace LeNoble on January 27, 2011 (one month after I gave birth to Baby Max). It touches my heart to read and watch Christina Applegate share her childbirth experience. In 2008, she was diagnosed with breast cancer at 36 years old. Her battle with breast cancer resulted in a double mastectomy. Yet, at 39 years old, she has given

Weight Loss - Losing Weight After Pregnancy

Our baby is almost 2 months old. Sleep, life and work is almost back to "normal". The 6 week waiting period has passed and I am ready to lose this pregnancy weight. Some has come off naturally and I am still drumming up the motivation to get started with an exercise routine. It is not that I don't want to lose weight. This past Saturday, we took the kids and some out-of-town friends to Lawrence for the afternoon. It was a beautiful day after weeks of bitter cold and snow. We were excited to get out of the house and enjoy a brisk, sunny walk down Massachusetts Street and then through campus. We sat down to eat lunch at Free State Brewery on Mass and G - my 9-year-old - started to tell my friend about this funny show he had been watching on YouTube. "It's about this Jamaican Spongebob. He's called Spongebong Hemppants." "WHAT?!" (That was me.) "Spongebong Hemppants. He's really funny." "No. You cannot watch that any

6 Week Doctor Appointment

Picture of Baby Max - 6 Weeks Old - February 2011 - Shows interest in his toys. Max just had his 6 week doctor's appointment and it went well. I was a nervous wreck because his father took him for the well baby check up. This is the first time in my parenting life that I did not have to take a child to the doctors, so I was extremely uncomfortable and relieved at the same time. I was grateful
